Juniper Night

Club night on the 4th July was a very good night under the
Guidance of Peter Warren who told us all we needed to know about junipers, with a fantastic styling demo which you can see from the photos. It was very well attended by the members and a few well known faces turned up for the talk and a cup of tea.

Bearstead Show

ok, last Saturday was the Bearstead show and for most of the day it was a fine day and the stand was well attended by all ages, some that showed an interest in attending the club at the next meeting. Then about 2:30 pm the heavens opened in a really bad way and the crowd of approx 2000 + Made a beeline for the local pubs, never to be seen again, it all stopped raining for 4:30 when we packed up and headed home, all in all a good day was had.

Pots and All

ok, so i am now halfway into my pottery course at Aylsford Priory and inspiration on pots is high, I’m doing mainly Shohin, mame and accent pots at the moment but I’m sure i will progress onto some bigger ones, have a look and tell me what you think, good or bad, they still need firing and glazing but its a start and I’m sure club members will be interested.IMG_6187 IMG_6188 IMG_6189 IMG_6190 IMG_6191 IMG_6192 IMG_6193 IMG_6194

Restart of the Blog

hi all

Where to i start, well its now been a few months since the new committee started at the society and we have been struggling a little with the running of it, and we still need a chair person  by the way. now we are just starting to get a grip and one of the things we have neglected is this blog !, well thats about to change, i will now be putting regular posts and information on the site regarding all aspects of the society as it was before and this will be a mirror site for what i also put on Facebook along with the other members.

so, please stay with us and we will try our best to get it back to the way it was and pass on to you all the info and news that we can
