Please come along and support MBS @ Will Adams show in Gillingham on the 13th September, we will be showing our trees.

URGENT – Can you please confirm to myself or Les if you wish to attend Simon Tembletts workshop in Ashford on 27th & 28th September. We need numbers to organise catering and funds. You can attend both or one day, last year was an excellent event. When we have final numbers we can confirm costs.

If you have any suggestions for topics at our monthly meetings please let the committee know.

General reminder – Everyone should be aware that we hire the hall until 10pm, please feel free to stay until that time. The hall must be left tidy for anyone using the hall the next morning.

DK ❤️ PW

After browsing round the world renown Bonsai Artist’s website of Peter Warren, I discovered that he has done some videos in cahoots with DK publishing with whom Peter has just released the excellent new Bonsai book .
Here is the first of three videos, I assume there will be a series of them at some point, for your delectation

Last Nights Meeting

The club had a good turn out last night with members bringing trees and raw material in all their guises, shapes and forms, to work on. It even saw an ex chairman grace the hall with his missed presence and working on a tree to boot.

It was a good evening with even a bit of Shiten banter thrown in, along with wishing a certain club member good luck for his impending nuptials in just over a weeks time

Simon was being guided by our very own Jonny Vegas look a like, not my description my I add Dean

Tree of the Month was won by Les for his semi cascade Maple

Next month sees a demo by Lee Verhorevoort
