Japanese Trees in the Garden of England

Always busy…

…but I am not complaining.  After the Noelanders trophy I have added more orders to my already growing commissions list.  After finishing off a few shohin ovals and a couple of larger ovals for the next few shows I am attending

I decided to get stuck into a big oval commission. Here is a picture of the wall which is thrown as a circle then, when a bit dryer, is deformed into the required oval shape

The pot is about 60cm across at the moment

Noelanders Trophy XIV 2013

Well the Noelanders Trophy has been and gone and what an event it was. Very busy despite sub zero temperatures and a rather large smattering of snow. Rather than me blather on about how good it was and that I sold well including the dragon pot, here is a link to Walter Pall’s website that shows the trees and people in all their glory, thanks Walter excellent pictures.

Also here is a great video that captures so much that is Noelanders from one of the IBC members

Andy, Les, Marc & Bennie all went from the club this year and it looks like more club members are going to go next year, you won’t regret it as it is Bonsai in its highest forms and some of the best trees in Europe on display at any given time.
